F-axis (Function)

F-axis · F-axis (Latin)

RU: Ось F (Функция)

Axis F (Method Function) is the fourth of the four classification axes of the Errarium platform.

The main question. Axis F answers the question: "What does the method give as a result?"

6 Values, Divided into 2 Groups

Cognition

  • F1 — Diagnosis: "What is?" — fixing the current state, auditing the situation
  • F2 — Interpretation: "What does it mean?" — deciphering meanings, connections, symbols
  • F3 — Forecast: "What may be?" — modeling possible futures

Action

  • F4 — Navigation: "Where to go?" — choosing a direction within existing circumstances
  • F5 — Transformation: "How to change?" — radical change of personality or situation
  • F6 — Calibration: "How to sound?" — fine tuning of state, "frequency adjustment"

Blurred Boundaries

Most methods are multifunctional. Most methods perform several functions.

F2 vs F3. The boundary between F2 (interpretation) and F3 (forecast) is often blurred: deep interpretation of the present contains a seed of forecast.

F5 — The Strongest Function

The method changes, it does not describe. F5 (transformation) is the strongest "function": the method changes the person, rather than describing them. This is the move from the map to the territory.
