Fei Xing (Flying Stars)

飛星 / 玄空飛星 · Fēi Xīng (CJK)

RU: Фэй Син (Летающие Звёзды)

Fei Xing (Chinese 飛星, fēi xīng — "flying stars"; full name: 玄空飛星, Xuan Kong Fei Xing — "Flying Stars of the Mysterious Void") is a dynamic Feng Shui system (#51) that overlays temporal energy maps onto the spatial Lo Shu model (T048).

Temporal Structure

Three eras of 60 years. Three Yuan (元, "eras"): Upper (上元), Middle (中元), Lower (下元) — 60 years each.

Nine periods. Each Yuan is divided into 3 periods (运, yun) of 20 years = 9 periods × 20 = 180 years. The current period: 9 (2024–2043)Fire, number 9, the trigram Li (離).

The Mechanism

  • 9 "stars" (numbers 1–9) are distributed across 9 palaces (cells of the Lo Shu) according to the current period
  • The Mountain Star (rear) — governs health and relationships
  • The Water Star (facing) — governs finance and opportunity
  • Combinations of stars determine the quality of each sector: auspicious, neutral or dangerous

The Main Advantage of the System

Time + space. Fei Xing allows the determination of auspicious and inauspicious zones not only in space, but also in time. A sector can be "good" in one period and "bad" in another.
